Common Name - Bell Flower
Description 'Blue Gown' is an excellent form of Campanula which has a mass of blue coloured flowers each with a white eye. Leaves are heart shaped, dark green with a frilled margin. Lovely ground cover for part shade to full shade gardens.
Flower Time - Spring
Size - Grows to 10-30cm high x 30cm wide.
Use - Lovely ground cover for shady areas, under trees, in pots and containers and garden bed egding. Combines well with Lamium Viola and Ajuga as a shady combination planting.
Position - Shade in well drained soil.
Maintenance - Feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser. Water during extended dry periods. Trim back the spent flower stems.
