Common Name - Geum or Avens
Description – An attractive compact clumping forming perennial which bears tall slender stems of attractive double flowers throughout spring and summer. Waterwise once established
Flower Time – Flowering have layers of frilly peachy pink and red with distinctive lemon centres from where the stigma and stamens protrude during spring & summer
Size - Grows to 40cm tall x 40cm wide.
Use – Suitable for the garden or containers, Geum are very hardy as a flowering border plant. The deep green larger leaves are a great back drop with the taller flower stems above. A suitable ground cover which will suppress weeds.
Position - Full sun to part shade
Maintenance – Trouble free plant. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage repeat flowering.
