Description – A deciduous shrub or small tree with a compact, rounded growth habit. Petite aromatic dark grey-green leaves are palmately divided into finger-like lobes with fuzzy undersides. These leaves are smaller in size to the other varieties. Fabulous plant for smaller gardens wanting shade in summer yet sun in winter. Very Waterwise once established. Bird and bee attracting.
Flower Time –Flowers are fragrant & showy in dark violet blue in summer
Size - Grows to 3m tall x 3m wide.
Use – Suitable for the garden or large containers, Vitex are very hardy in the landscape. They can have a single stem or be pruned for a bushier appearance depending on the gardens needs.
Position - Full sun
Maintenance – Trouble free plant. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage repeat flowering.
